About The Fall Run

ADAMS FALL RUN, CORP.

It wasn’t long ago we dusted off the dormant Fall Run motorcycle ride to see if we could capture the essence of the fun, we did just that in 2021... Like anything that has history, nothing remains the same and changes are made to adapt to the present. The one thing that remains the same is the ICONIC gathering of people, a great ride through the Berkshire Hill Towns  in the fall , having a gathering after to talk about the adventure.

The Fall Run is clearly a piece of this community’s local cultural history. It is well rooted and a piece of the unique fabric and should continuously be supported and recognized historically for its uniqueness and selfless charitable contributions to the Legions of recent and of many others.. It has survived for almost 4 decades.

And so, the time has come to pass the torch again. Not without saying thank you to all the volunteers who journeyed, the unknown of the sacred love of the Fall Run’s mystical adventure. For many it was blind faith and a fun challenge to get it going again. People wanted it to never have ended yet understood why it did…but others wanted to do it again…They wanted to feel the thunder again. They wanted to see the fun-loving supporters lined up against the route. With so many kids waving and flags flying. Towns with the emergency vehicles out draped with flags…They wanted to have that fun again… While my short stint with the resurrection has been self-fulfilling, it will never compare to the forefathers who built its foundations of good will.    I personally thank you for the opportunity to experience the ride and the evolution of the FALL RUN!

On behalf of the Adams Fall Run, I want to extend our deepest gratitude for Josh Fields' family and friends for their willingness to take the stewardship of the Adams Fall Run Corp. a non profit organization. We have watched and worked closely with them and we see the commitment to the value and vision that we and others before us pursued and to continue to preserve the Fall Run’s future.

We thank you for the support and look forward to the success and expanded ideas to continue. I hope I can stay active in any way to help the charity. Riders be safe and enjoy the fun!

See you out there.
Come experience the “Thunder”!

American Legion Riders chapters are well known for their charitable work, which has raised hundreds of thousands of dollars for local children's hospitals, schools, veterans homes, severely wounded service members and scholarships. Since 2006, Riders nationwide have participated in The American Legion Legacy Run to annually raise money for the Legacy Scholarship Fund, established to provide scholarships to children of U.S. military personnel killed since Sept. 11, 2001.
